Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel Occupational Therapist with at least 1 year of inpatient rehab or acute care experience for a 13-week assignment in Waco, TX.

Details

  • Inpatient rehabilitation and acute care hospital setting
  • Day shift schedule, Monday–Friday, 5x8s (0800–1630)
  • 13-week travel contract
  • Located in Waco, TX

Requirements

  • Active TX OT license required if applicable
  • Current BLS certification (AHA only) required
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in inpatient rehab or acute care
  • Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience, or Master's degree with less than 1 year of experience
  • Proficiency with standard rehabilitation equipment and multiple computer systems
  • 2 professional references required for consideration
  • Flu shot required — no exemptions accepted
  • DOB and SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Evaluate, treat, and monitor patients, modifying therapy programs and goals as needed
  • Perform thorough clinical documentation and accurate charge entry
  • Provide education to patients, families, and staff
  • Supervise support staff, students, and volunteers as needed
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team including physicians and departmental colleagues
  • Black scrubs required
  • Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — no local travelers accepted
