Description

American Traveler is hiring a MRI Technologist with at least 1 year of MRI experience and ARRT registration for a travel assignment using Epic EMR.

Details

• MRI department setting performing diagnostic imaging examinations
• Uses Epic for charting
• Performs MRI examinations in coordination with radiologists, including contrast-enhanced studies with IV contrast administration

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of MRI experience required
• ARRT registration required
• Active BLS certification required (AHA only)
• Active state license required (if applicable) — no pending licenses accepted
• Utah State Licensure required for positions located in Utah
• ARRT MR specialty certification preferred
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include patient identification and preparation, protocol selection, contrast administration, image acquisition, archiving, and quality control documentation
• Must demonstrate cross-sectional anatomy knowledge and anatomical positioning competency
• Expected to achieve IV certification competency within 3 months of starting
• Completion of controlled substance and moderate sedation modules may be required within 6 months (where applicable)
• Must adhere to MRI safety policy including the Four Zone concept and proper magnet safety procedures
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from any facility in the health system for at least 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment
