Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Medical/Surgical position with day shift scheduling, Epic experience preferred, and a minimum of 1-2 years of Med/Surg experience required.

Details

• Medical/Surgical unit with 25 beds
• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
• Patient ratio of 1:5-6
• Weekends required
• Floating required within scope of practice
• No on-call requirements
• Block scheduling considered on a case-by-case basis
• Epic EMR used; experience preferred

Requirements

• Active RN license (Standard or Compact) required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 1-2 years of Med/Surg RN experience required

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before being eligible as a traveler
• Travel pairs or groups will not be accepted
• Navy scrubs required
• No more than 3 days of RTO will be approved; no RTO during the first week of orientation
• RTO requests must be approved by the manager
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
