Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night-shift ICU travel position requiring a New Mexico or Compact RN license and at least 1 year of ICU experience.

ICU setting within a hospital environment
Shift: Nights, 4x12-hour shifts (18:30–07:00)
Option to work 36 or 48 hours per week
Patient ratio of 1:2
Floating is required
Weekend shifts are required
Epic EMR experience preferred
13-week contract

Requirements

Active NM or Compact RN license required (pending NM license accepted)
Minimum 1 year of ICU experience required
Current BLS certification required
Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Travel pairs or groups will not be considered
Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before being eligible as a traveler
No more than 3 days of RTO will be auto-approved, and no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation
2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years are required for consideration
