Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical/Surgical position requiring an active NM or Compact RN license and a minimum of 1 year of experience.

Details

• Work in a 32-bed Medical/Surgical unit in a hospital setting
• Day shift: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM (3x12-hour shifts)
• Option to work 36 or 48 hours per week
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• 6 weekend shifts required per 6-week period
• Floating required within scope of practice
• No on-call requirements
• Block scheduling considered on a case-by-case basis
• Documents in Epic EMR; Epic experience preferred

Requirements

• Active NM or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification required; CPI certification preferred
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before being eligible as a traveler
• No more than 3 days of RTO will be approved; no RTO during the first week of orientation
• Scrubs of any color are acceptable, provided they do not display a hospital logo
• Travel pairs or groups will not be accepted
