Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Trauma ICU position requiring a minimum of 1-2 years of experience and current ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC certifications.

Details

  • Trauma ICU unit in a hospital setting
  • Patient ratio of 1:2
  • Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:00)
  • Epic EMR experience preferred
  • 13-week contract

Requirements

  • Active TX or Compact RN license currently in hand
  • Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS (preferred), and TNCC (preferred)
  • Minimum 1-2 years of RN experience required
  • Trauma ICU experience required
  • Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Additional Information

  • First-time travelers are not accepted for this position
  • Travel pairs or groups will not be considered
  • Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler
  • Candidates residing in the following TX counties are not eligible: Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, and Morris
  • No more than 3 days of RTO will be approved, and no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation
  • Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years are required for consideration
