Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU (CVPICU) position at a pediatric hospital, requiring an OH or compact RN license and approximately 2 years of CVPICU experience.

Details

• Position is in a Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU (CVPICU) at a large pediatric hospital
• Night shift schedule: 4x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:30
• Floating is required and may include NICU, PICU, ED, stepdown, and med/surg units as needed
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Approximately 2 years of CVPICU or relevant pediatric critical care experience preferred
• 2 supervisory references required; at least 1 must be from a supervisor or manager (charge nurse references are not accepted)
• Must not have worked permanently at this facility within the last 2 years

Additional Information

• Local candidates are not eligible for this position regardless of proximity to the facility
• Floating is a significant expectation at this facility — travelers must be prepared and willing to float to various units as assigned
• No call/no-shows are taken very seriously and may result in disciplinary action up to termination
