Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring a KS or compact license and at least 2 years of experience, with block scheduling available for review.

Details

• Work setting includes a 10-bed LDRP unit, 4-bed GYN, post-op, 14 well-baby beds, and 3 Special Care Nursery beds
• Facility delivers approximately 900 babies per year, supported by 2 OB/GYN doctors and 3 pediatricians
• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Every other weekend (EOW) required
• No on-call requirements
• Occasional floating to Med/Surg, ICU, and ER is expected (approximately 2-3 times over a 13-week contract)
• Block scheduling requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis

Requirements

• Active RN license in Kansas (KS) or a Compact state, currently in hand
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NRP
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Valid driver's license and Social Security card copy required for consideration
