Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Surgical ICU (SICU) position in Ohio, requiring a valid OH or compact RN license and a minimum of 2 years of recent ICU experience.

Details

• Position is in a Surgical ICU (SICU) at an academic medical center in Ohio
• Patient population includes surgical, trauma, burn, and transplant ICU cases
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (3x12-hour shifts)
• 36 hours per week with every other weekend required
• Floating is required
• Call is required
• EMR: Epic; medication systems include Pyxis, Accudose, and Omnicell
• SBAR is used for clinical communication

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required
• Surgical ICU, Trauma ICU, Burn ICU, or Transplant ICU experience preferred
