Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring night shift availability and strong travel nursing background.

Details

Inpatient Med/Surg Tele unit in a hospital setting
Night shift hours: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
Schedule options include 3x12-hour nights, or alternating 36/48-hour or straight 48-hour workweeks
Patient ratios up to 6:1
Floating to other Med/Surg/Tele units is required

Requirements

Active TX RN license or compact RN license recognized in Texas
Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
Travel nursing experience strongly preferred
2 supervisory references from within the last 3 years required for consideration

Additional Information

The facility conducts its own drug screen upon arrival, which includes marijuana — a positive result will result in immediate cancellation with no exceptions; candidates should avoid all substances that could produce a positive result, including CBD products
Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted
