Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced NICU RN for a Level 3 NICU position requiring Cerner proficiency and a minimum of 2 years of neonatal nursing experience.

Details

• Level 3 NICU setting with attendance at high-risk deliveries required
• Patient population includes neonates 29–34 weeks and neonates greater than 34 weeks gestational age
• Required skills include blood glucose monitoring, hyperbilirubinemia management, insulin administration, and phototherapy
• Respiratory skills required: endotracheal tube suctioning, HFNC, respiratory distress syndrome management, tracheostomy management, and ventilator management (AC/PC/SIMV/CPAP/BiPAP/PEEP)
• Preferred skills include administration of emergency medications including surfactants
• Cerner EMR experience is required — no exceptions
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (18:45–07:15)
• Every third weekend required
• Scrubs are provided by the facility

Requirements

• Active MO RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS and NRP certifications required; NRP Advanced and PALS preferred
• Minimum 2 years of NICU nursing experience required
• Level 3 NICU experience required
• Cerner EMR experience required — no exceptions
• Driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
• Two professional references required for consideration
