Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position requiring a minimum of 2 years of OR experience and an active LA or compact RN license.

Details

• Operating Room setting with 7 rooms and a caseload of 10–25 cases per day
• Day shift schedule: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM (5x8-hour shifts)
• Requires 2 weekends per 6-week schedule
• Call required on weekdays, weekends, and holidays
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active LA RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• BLS certification required (AHA-issued)
• Minimum 2 years of OR experience required
• CVOR experience preferred but not required
• Must reside 65+ miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

• Green scrubs are provided by the facility
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply, provided they have sufficient OR experience
• Upon joining, travelers may be assigned to an emergency response team and expected to remain at or return to the facility during emergency events
• RTO requests must be disclosed and discussed during the interview process
• Local candidates (within 65 miles of the facility) are not eligible for this position
