Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with 2+ years of diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab experience, RCIS certification, and Epic proficiency for a 13-week travel contract.
Details
- Cardiac Cath Lab setting within an acute care hospital
- Diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab cases
- 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Weekends and holidays required as needed
- On-call required: 12 days per 8-week schedule, including after-hours weekday call (5:00 PM – 7:00 AM) and 24-hour weekend call (Friday–Monday), with 2–3 weekend call assignments per 8-week period
- Epic EMR experience required
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab experience required
- RCIS certification required
- Current BLS and ACLS required
- Epic EMR proficiency required
- IR experience preferred
- Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Copy of driver's license required for consideration
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Scrubs are provided by the facility
- All candidates must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam during compliance; two attempts are allowed, and candidates should prepare in advance as study materials are not provided by the facility
- Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
