Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with 2+ years of diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab experience, RCIS certification, and Epic proficiency for a 13-week travel contract.

Details

Cardiac Cath Lab setting within an acute care hospital
Diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab cases
4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Weekends and holidays required as needed
On-call required: 12 days per 8-week schedule, including after-hours weekday call (5:00 PM – 7:00 AM) and 24-hour weekend call (Friday–Monday), with 2–3 weekend call assignments per 8-week period
Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab experience required
RCIS certification required
Current BLS and ACLS required
Epic EMR proficiency required
IR experience preferred
Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
Copy of driver's license required for consideration
License required if applicable

Additional Information

First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Scrubs are provided by the facility
All candidates must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam during compliance; two attempts are allowed, and candidates should prepare in advance as study materials are not provided by the facility
Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
