Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring Epic proficiency and remote telemetry monitoring experience, with night shifts and multi-campus float requirements.

Details

Med/Surg Telemetry unit in an acute care hospital setting
Primary patient population is Medical/Surgical; unit is telemetry-capable with remote monitoring
Patient ratio is 1:5–6
Schedule: 3x12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) required
Floating to all system campuses as needed for patient care
Epic EMR required

Requirements

Active NC RN license or valid Compact RN license required
Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
Remote telemetry monitoring experience required
Epic EMR experience required
Charge RN experience preferred
Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates
2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
Copy of driver's license required for consideration

Additional Information

All RNs must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam during compliance, regardless of specialty — two attempts are allowed
Study materials for the EKG exam will not be provided by the facility; candidates should prepare in advance
Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
First-time travelers are welcome to apply
