Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with 2+ years of IR experience and ARRT certification for a 13-week travel assignment.

Details

• Work in an Interventional Radiology unit in an acute care hospital setting
• Procedures include stroke thrombectomy, embolization, kyphoplasty, fistulagrams, arteriograms with intervention, venograms with intervention, dialysis access, venous access, Y90, chest port placement, nephrostomy tube placement, PTC, G-tube placement, and TIPS
• Uses Philips Azurion, Siemens equipment platforms, and ultrasound for arterial/venous access
• 4x10 hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• On-call is required, including some weekends
• Local candidates are not accepted — permanent address must be 50+ miles from the facility

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience required
• ARRT with RT(R) certification required; VI credential preferred but not required
• Current BLS required
• Proficiency with Philips and Siemens equipment platforms required
• Proficiency with ultrasound for arterial and venous access required
• Competency in full range of IR procedures including stroke thrombectomy, embolization, Y90, TIPS, and vascular access procedures required
• SC or Compact state license required if applicable
• 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
