Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ED RN for a full-time travel assignment in Colorado, requiring a CO or compact RN license and multiple AHA certifications including TNCC and ENPC.

Details

• Emergency Room department at a hospital setting in Colorado
• 12-hour variable day shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)
• Weekend availability required
• On-call requirements to be discussed during interview
• Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
• Epic EMR used for charting

Requirements

• Active CO state or compact RN license required (no pending licenses)
• Minimum 1 year of ED/emergency nursing experience required
• Required AHA certifications (must not expire prior to start date): BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, and NIHSS
• Associate's degree from an accredited School of Nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• English proficiency required (speaking, reading, and writing)
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
• 2 professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in accordance with state Board of Nursing practice standards
• Duties include health teaching, counseling, executing delegated medical functions, and referring patients for further evaluation as needed
• Documents care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year to be eligible for a travel assignment
• BSN is preferred but not required
