Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position in Colorado, requiring a CO or compact RN license and at least 1 year of Cath Lab experience.

Details

• Full-time position in a hospital Cardiac Cath Lab department
• Schedule is 4x10-hour day shifts, 0700–1730
• On-call required on both weekdays and weekends
• 40 hours per week
• Uses Epic for charting
• Floating to other departments may be required based on business need

Requirements

• Active CO or compact RN license required — no pending licenses accepted
• Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab RN experience required
• Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS — must not expire prior to start date
• Associate's Degree in Nursing (ASN) required; BSN preferred
• English proficiency required (speak, read, write)
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care including health data collection, teaching, counseling, and therapeutic interventions
• Executes delegated medical functions, reviews treatment plans, and refers patients as needed for further evaluation
• Documents in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Candidates who have been permanent staff at any Intermountain facility must have been separated for at least 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment
• BSN and specialty-specific certification are preferred but not required
