Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position requiring at least 1 year of ED experience, an active CO or compact RN license, and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Emergency Department setting within a hospital environment
• Epic EMR used for charting
• Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
• On-call may be required during regularly scheduled shifts

Requirements

• Active RN license in Colorado or a compact state (no pending licenses)
• Minimum 1 year of ED nursing experience required
• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred
• Required certifications (must be AHA): BLS, ACLS, NRP, or PALS as appropriate for unit
• ENPC, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications required
• All certifications must not expire prior to start date
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care; health teaching and counseling; executing delegated medical functions; and referring patients as needed
• Reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans, documenting in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Candidates who have been permanent staff at any Intermountain facility must have been separated for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
