Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Nurse Manager - Labor & Delivery position requiring a minimum of 5 years of OB nursing experience and active MA licensure.

Details

Labor & Delivery unit in an inpatient hospital setting
Leadership role partnering with the Director of Obstetrical Nursing to oversee 24/7 unit operations
Schedule: Days, Monday–Friday, 5x8-hour shifts, 7:00am–4:00pm
Weekend call coverage required on a variable basis depending on department needs
No routine on-call requirements outside of weekend coverage

Requirements

Active MA RN license required
Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NRP
Minimum 5 years of obstetrical nursing experience with demonstrated leadership abilities required
Inpatient OB certification preferred
Previous supervisory experience preferred
Evidence of continued professional growth and knowledge of current nursing trends and developments required
Two professional references required for consideration
Active MA RN license must be in hand for consideration

Additional Information

Responsible for driving clinical excellence and supporting a collaborative, patient- and staff-centered environment
Works in partnership with the Director of Obstetrical Nursing to manage 24/7 Labor & Delivery operations
Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are eligible but will be considered at a reduced travel pay rate
