Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Acute Care Float Pool position requiring flexibility to cover multiple med/surg units across two campuses.

Details

• 13-week travel contract
• Float pool position covering multiple acute care units including Ortho, Med/Surg, Neurology Step Down, Oncology, Surgical Telemetry, and Med/Surg Tele
• Required to float to a second campus located approximately 9.5 miles from the main downtown location
• Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Every other weekend (EOW) requirement

Requirements

• Active IA RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required for all direct patient care personnel
• Current ACLS certification from the AHA required
• NIHSS certification required
• TNCC certification required
• COVID vaccination card required for consideration
• Two professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidate must be comfortable floating to a wide variety of med/surg specialties across two campuses
• Local candidates are accepted for this position
• License verification must be dated within 30 days of start date; NURSYS verification preferred for RNs
