Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Resource Pool/Float position in Des Moines, IA, requiring the ability to float across multiple med-surg and specialty units on a 12-hour day shift schedule.

Details

• 13-week travel contract at an acute care hospital in Des Moines, IA
• Resource Pool float position covering multiple units including Ortho, Med-Surg, Neurology Step Down, Oncology, Surgical Telemetry, and Med-Surg Tele
• Must be willing to float to a secondary campus approximately 9.5 miles from the main downtown location
• Day shift schedule: 07:00–19:30 (12-hour shifts)

Requirements

• Active IA RN license or a Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required for all direct patient care personnel
• ACLS certification (AHA) required
• NIHSS certification required
• COVID vaccination card required for consideration
• Two professional references required for consideration
