Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Resource Pool / Acute Care Float position at a hospital in Des Moines, IA, requiring flexibility to float across multiple med/surg units on a night shift schedule.

• 13-week contract at an acute care hospital in Des Moines, IA
• Resource Pool / Acute Care Float position requiring willingness to float across all med/surg floors, including Ortho, Med/Surg, Neurology Step Down, Oncology, Surgical Telemetry, and Med/Surg Tele units
• Floating may include travel to a West Lakes Campus approximately 9.5 miles from the main downtown location
• Night shift schedule: 19:00–07:30

Requirements

• Active Iowa RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
• Current ACLS certification from the American Heart Association required
• NIHSS certification required
• TNCC certification required
• COVID vaccination card required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care across a variety of acute care med/surg specialties as part of a float pool
• References required for consideration
