Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room (OR) position in Atlanta, GA, requiring a GA or Compact RN license and at least 18 months of OR experience.
Details
- Night shift (NOC), 12-hour shifts
- 13-week assignment
- Operating Room (OR) unit at an academic health system in Atlanta, GA
- CVOR candidates must have a minimum of 18 months of full-time CVOR experience within the last 3 years, with strong skills across cardiac and vascular procedures and proficiency in endovascular cases
Requirements
- Active GA or Compact RN license currently in hand
- Minimum 18 months of OR nursing experience
- CVOR RN candidates must have demonstrated proficiency (self-rated 3s and 4s) in cardiac and vascular procedures, including strong endovascular experience
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
Additional Information
- Former permanent staff of Emory or Houston facilities must be separated for at least 1 year before returning to the health system; if returning to the same facility, a minimum separation of 18 months is required
- RTO is permitted up to a maximum of 5 days if not requested on or near a holiday; if RTO falls on or near a holiday, the maximum allowed is 3 days
- Only one holiday RTO request is permitted per contract; RTO during holiday periods must be spread out and will not be approved if taken on consecutive days around a holiday
- Full SSN and DOB are required for consideration
