Description

American Traveler is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in an acute care and inpatient rehab setting, requiring at least 6 months of recent PT experience.

Details

• Located in the main hospital building, working across acute care and inpatient rehab unit settings
• Inpatient Rehab Unit has 24 beds; hospital average daily census ranges from 230–280
• Patient ratios are 7–8 evaluations per therapist in acute care and 4–5 on the Inpatient Rehab Unit
• Patient population includes NICU, ICU, Med/Surg, Ortho, and Inpatient Rehab
• EMR: Meditech
• Shift hours are 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of PT experience within the last 6 months required
• Active PT license required if applicable
• Current BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted); certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the start date
• Candidates must have no gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration
• One professional reference required

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include evaluations and treatment across acute care and inpatient rehab settings
• Willingness to float between acute care and the Inpatient Rehab Unit is preferred
• Preferred experience includes acute care, inpatient rehab, NICU, or ICU settings
• The facility is a Comprehensive Stroke Center and Trauma Level II accredited facility
• Team of 9 full-time PTs and 5 full-time PTAs, with additional PRN and shared staff from sister facilities
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted
