Description

American Traveler is hiring a Home Health Occupational Therapist with at least 1 year of recent experience for a 13-week travel contract in the Milwaukee area, with on-call requirements and a flexible service territory.

Details

Home health setting serving the Milwaukee territory, with a service area of up to 60 miles from the hub/office
Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts (8:00–17:00)
Geriatric patient population
Average caseload of 5–7 patients per day (confirm during interview)
On-call required every 3rd to 4th weekend
EMR: HCHB experience required
OASIS experience required
iPad provided for use in the field

Requirements

Current, active OT license required if applicable
Minimum 1 year of recent home health OT experience
Current BLS certification required
HCHB EMR experience required
OASIS documentation experience required

Additional Information

First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Local candidates are accepted and eligible for the travel rate
Flexibility with service territory is expected
Timely documentation and communication are essential to this role
Scrubs required in any color; jeans are not permitted
Mileage is reimbursed at the IRS standard rate
2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
All time off and scheduling requests must be disclosed at the time of submission
