Description

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with ARRT certification and a minimum of 1 year of experience for a 13-week travel contract at a Level II Trauma Center in Virginia.

Details

• Short-term acute care hospital setting at a Level II Trauma Center with 431 staffed beds
• MRI department performs general, MSK, neuro, vascular, and cardiac MR imaging
• Patient population includes adults, pediatrics, patients requiring anesthesia or ventilator support, and those with conditional implants
• Daily caseload of 10–15 patients
• Uses Philips iSite PACS, document scanning, and Care Logistics software
• Charting via Epic
• 5x8 hour day shifts, Monday–Friday, 5:30 AM–2:00 PM
• Rotating call required, including weekend and holiday coverage
• No floating to sister facilities required
• Local candidates are accepted

Requirements

• ARRT certification required; a Virginia state license is not required — national ARRT certification is sufficient
• Current BLS required
• Minimum of 1 year of MRI experience required
• Experience with PACS and contrast administration required
• License required if applicable

• Perform MRI exams across a broad range of modalities including general, MSK, neuro, vascular, and cardiac imaging
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Scrub color is Caribbean blue
• RTO requests and scheduling needs are accommodated at the manager's discretion
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
• All time off and scheduling requests must be disclosed at the time of initial submission
