Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with current ARRT and Cath Lab experience for a 4x10 day shift contract at a major academic medical center in Chicago, IL.

Details

Work in a hospital-based cardiac catheterization lab
4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
Weekend requirement: yes
On-call coverage required Monday through Thursday from 5:30 PM to 7:00 AM, and full weekend coverage Friday through Monday
STEMI call requires the technologist to be in the lab, dressed, and ready within 30 minutes of a STEMI page
May be required to float to a different unit or facility upon manager's request

Requirements

Cath Lab experience required
Current ARRT certification required
Current BLS and ACLS required; both must be AHA-issued
BSN required
IL license required (no emergency or pending licensure — license must be in hand)
License required if applicable

Additional Information

Candidates living within 75 miles of the facility are accepted at a local pay rate
Two professional references required, including at least one from a supervisor, manager, or charge RN within the past year
All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of profile submission and cannot be added afterward
Vaccination status must be provided for consideration
