Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a PACU position at a Vermont medical center, requiring PACU experience with pediatric and GYN exposure and multiple required certifications.

Details

Position is in a Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at a community medical center in Rutland, Vermont
Patient population includes pediatric and GYN surgical cases in addition to general post-anesthesia recovery
10-hour rotating day/evening shifts
13-week contract
Cerner EMR experience is preferred

Requirements

Active RN license — Vermont (VT) or Compact license required; VT licensure must be applied for upon acceptance if not already held
Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
Dysrhythmia testing required
PACU nursing experience required
Experience with pediatric and GYN patient populations required

Additional Information

Orientation is held on a biweekly basis
Schedule requests are subject to manager approval
A personal vehicle is strongly encouraged, as public transportation is not accessible in this area
