Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a PACU position at a Vermont medical center, requiring PACU experience with pediatric and GYN exposure and multiple required certifications.

Details

  • Position is in a Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at a community medical center in Rutland, Vermont
  • Patient population includes pediatric and GYN surgical cases in addition to general post-anesthesia recovery
  • 10-hour rotating day/evening shifts
  • 13-week contract
  • Cerner EMR experience is preferred

Requirements

  • Active RN license — Vermont (VT) or Compact license required; VT licensure must be applied for upon acceptance if not already held
  • Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
  • Dysrhythmia testing required
  • PACU nursing experience required
  • Experience with pediatric and GYN patient populations required

Additional Information

  • Orientation is held on a biweekly basis
  • Schedule requests are subject to manager approval
  • A personal vehicle is strongly encouraged, as public transportation is not accessible in this area
