Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position requiring orthopedic and total joint experience, with scrub skills highly preferred.

Work setting is a hospital Operating Room
Primary surgical specialty is orthopedics, with a focus on total joint procedures
10-hour rotating day/evening shifts
40 hours per week with on-call requirements

Requirements

Active RN license in Vermont (VT) or a compact state license — VT license must be applied for upon acceptance
Current BLS certification required
Orthopedic surgical experience required, including total joint procedures
Scrub experience highly preferred
Cerner EMR experience preferred

Additional Information

Orientation is held on a biweekly basis
Schedule requests are approved at the manager's discretion
Local candidates are not accepted for this position
Personal vehicle is strongly encouraged, as public transportation is not accessible in the area
