Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position requiring strong surgical specialty experience including total joints, robotic (Da Vinci), and spine, with on-call responsibilities.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting, Operating Room (OR) unit
• Surgical specialties include total joints, Da Vinci robotic surgery, spine, general surgery, urology, and GYN
• Charting via Epic EMR
• Day shift position with flexible shift length options: 8-hour (0630-1500 or 1030-1900, 40 hrs/week), 9-hour (0630-1600 or 0930-1900, 36 hrs/week), or 10-hour (0630-1700 or 0830-1900, 40 hrs/week)
• On-call is required; approximately 8 call shifts per 6-week period, which can be taken together (Fri-Sat-Sun) or separately
• Friday call begins at end of shift and runs until 0630 the following morning; Saturday and Sunday call runs 0630-0630
• Holiday call coverage required for Memorial Day weekend and the 4th of July
• 13-week assignment

Requirements

• Active Indiana (IN) or Compact RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience required
• Proficiency in total joints, Da Vinci robotic-assisted surgery, spine, general, urology, and GYN procedures required
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Must reside within 30 minutes of the facility while on call
