Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist for an acute care hospital setting, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and Epic EMR proficiency.

Details

Acute care hospital setting with 249 staffed beds
4x10-hour day shifts, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
13-week contract
Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience in an acute care setting
Active California PT license required at time of consideration; pending licenses are not accepted
BLS certification preferred
Epic EMR experience required
At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting required for consideration
SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
All RTO requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration; post-offer RTO requests may be denied
Refusal to float between facilities within the state may result in termination of assignment
