Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position in Kansas, requiring a KS or compact RN license and offering flexible shift options across days, mids, and nights.

Details

• Work setting is a hospital Emergency Department
• Three shift options available: day shift, flexible mid shift, and night shift, all 12-hour shifts
• 36 hours per week
• Day shift weekend requirement: 4 weekend shifts per month (Saturday/Sunday)
• Night shift weekend requirement: 6 weekend shifts per month (Friday/Saturday/Sunday; Friday counts as a weekend for night shift)
• Scheduler will make reasonable attempts to cohort weekend shifts to every other weekend, though adjustments may be necessary based on staffing
• No float requirement
• No on-call requirement
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active RN license in Kansas or a compact state currently in hand
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1–2 years of Emergency Department RN experience required

Additional Information

• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers — no radius rule applies
• Former permanent employees of this facility must have been separated for at least 90 days before returning as a traveler
• Two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine are required, or an approved declination must be on file (boosters not currently required)
• A copy of your COVID vaccination card will be needed for consideration
