Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel IR Technologist with Neuro IR experience for a 13-week assignment in an Angiography/Special Procedures unit with heavy neuro volumes.
Details
- Angiography/Special Procedures unit with 4 procedure rooms
- Unit staffed with 5 RNs and 4 technologists on day shift
- Heavy neuro IR case volume
- Phillips and GE biplane equipment
- EMR: Meditech
- 10-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- After-hours and weekend call required
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of hospital experience required
- Neuro IR experience is required — candidates without this will not be considered
- Active experience within the last 6 months in the specialty
- Current BLS (AHA or ARC accepted — must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start)
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
- Professional reference required (2 references required if licensed in Florida or Missouri)
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
- Navy scrubs required
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
