Description

American Traveler is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist for a 16-week travel assignment in a radiology ultrasound unit, requiring ARDMS certification and Epic EMR experience.

Details

Radiology Ultrasound unit in an acute care hospital setting
Floating to an offsite imaging center is required
8-hour rotating day and evening shifts
Scheduled Monday through Sunday, with weekend and on-call requirements
Uses GE Logiq 9 ultrasound machine and Visage PACS
Epic EMR experience required
16-week assignment

Requirements

ARDMS certification in Abdomen (AB) and/or OB required
Epic EMR experience from within the past 2 years is required and non-negotiable
Prior travel experience preferred
Two professional references required — at least one from a supervisor or manager within the past 6 months, and one from within the past year of employment
SSN and DOB required for consideration
License required if applicable

Additional Information

Public transportation is not accessible in this area — a personal or rental vehicle is strongly recommended
Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires from November through April
Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility may be considered as local; those living 51–100 miles away fall under a separate radius rate — distance is measured in a straight line, not by driving distance
No block scheduling is available for this position
Bi-weekly orientations are held on Mondays
