Description

American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist with at least 1 year of mammography-specific experience for an outpatient breast imaging center in Yakima, WA.

Details

• Outpatient breast imaging center with 4 mammography rooms, 1 special procedures room, and 2 ultrasound rooms
• Patient population is primarily adults and geriatric; patients under 18 are rare
• Procedures include screening mammography, diagnostic mammography, biopsies, wire localizations, and a variety of breast imaging procedures
• 8-hour mid shifts: Tuesday–Friday 10:00 AM–6:30 PM and Saturday 7:30 AM–4:00/4:30 PM
• 40 hours per week
• No floating required
• No on-call required
• Epic EMR experience preferred

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of mammography-specific experience required
• ARRT (RT)(M) certification required
• Current BLS required
• Proof of meeting MQSA requirements required
• WA State license required if applicable
• Proficiency in mammography positioning, technical settings, and equipment operation
• Experience with screenings, diagnostics, and wire localizations required; must be comfortable being refreshed on wire loc procedures if not recently performed
• Stereotactic biopsy competency preferred
• Ability to work independently, including solo as the only technologist on Saturdays
• Ability to work effectively with all age groups, adapting to their specific needs in a radiology setting

• Any color scrubs are acceptable
