Description

American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist with 2+ years of experience for a Home Health position in California requiring a valid CA driver's license and auto insurance.

Details

• Home health setting with day shift hours, 5x8-hour shifts (8:00–17:00)
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active CA state PT license required; license required if applicable
• Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program
• Valid California driver's license and personal auto insurance required
• Proficiency with computer systems and required clinical technology
• Strong critical thinking, complex problem-solving, and decisive judgment skills
• Ability to organize multiple priorities and complete work within expected timelines
• Effective verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to develop treatment protocols and training materials
• Ability to apply evidence-based practice to clinical and training contexts
• Ability to analyze clinical practice and workflow best practices across departments
• 2 supervisor references from within the past two years required for consideration

Additional Information

• Collaborates with key stakeholders to develop clinical solutions and treatment protocols
• Applies evidence-based practice to patient care and contributes to training material development
• Must be able to teach and educate others, including public speaking and competency assessments
• Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have been away for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Only 1 holiday RTO request will be approved during the contract
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are subject to a local pay rate
• Candidates must be available for lab work within 3–5 days of contract signing
