Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for an Operating Room position at a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center, requiring prior travel experience in a large Level 1 trauma facility and strong vascular/endovascular skills.
Details
- Operating Room (OR) unit within a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center
- Complex and diverse surgical cases including vascular and endovascular procedures
- High-volume trauma environment with fast-paced, critical case management
- 10-hour day shifts, 6:45 AM – 5:15 PM, 4 shifts per week
- Block scheduling is not available
- Call and holiday coverage required
- 4 weekend shifts per month required
Requirements
- Active GA RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
- Current BLS certification required
- Prior travel nursing experience in a large Level 1 trauma facility required
- Strong vascular and endovascular OR experience required
- Proven ability to manage critical, high-pressure surgical situations
- Background in high-volume hospitals with diverse and severe cases
- High ratings across all areas of the OR skills checklist
Additional Information
- Candidates with experience limited to small or low-volume hospitals will not be considered for this position
- This facility is a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center handling complex and challenging surgical cases
- Local candidates are accepted for this position
- References are not required for consideration
