Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) position requiring at least 2 years of experience, Epic proficiency, and night shift availability.

Details

Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) unit within a hospital setting
Patient population includes general rehab, stroke rehab, spinal cord rehab, and brain injury rehab
Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5
Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 18:30–07:00
Weekend availability required
Floating within the facility required
No on-call responsibilities
Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

Active LA RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
Current BLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
Epic EMR experience required
Supervisory reference dated within the last 12 months required for consideration
Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
Any employment gaps of more than 30 days must be documented and explained

Additional Information

First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
Royal blue scrubs required
RTO is limited to 5 days or fewer for the duration of the contract
Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates
Former permanent employees of any LCMC facility must have been separated for at least 1 year to be eligible for a travel assignment
