Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Inpatient Rehab RN for a night shift travel contract requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience, Epic proficiency, and an active LA or compact RN license.
Details
- Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit within a hospital setting
- Patient population includes general rehab, stroke rehab, spinal cord rehab, and brain injury rehab
- Patient ratio of 1:5
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
- Weekend coverage required
- Floating to other units is required
- No on-call responsibilities
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active LA or compact RN license required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- A supervisor reference dated within the last 12 months is required for consideration
- Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
- Any employment gaps of more than 30 days must be listed and explained
Additional Information
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
- Royal blue scrubs required
- RTO is limited to 5 days or fewer for the duration of the contract; the facility is strict about excessive RTO requests
- Minimal RTO is strongly encouraged during the Mardi Gras period (approximately February 13–22)
- Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates
- Former permanent employees of any LCMC facility must have been separated for at least 1 year to be considered
