Description

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse First Assist (RNFA) for a 13-week OR assignment in Michigan, with day shift scheduling and floating requirements to pre/post op and an additional surgical site.

Details

• Operating Room (OR) setting with RNFA responsibilities
• Day shift schedule: 4x10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• No on-call or weekend requirements
• Floating to pre/post op may be required on occasion
• Floating to a secondary surgical facility on Mondays for surgical cases may be required on occasion
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active MI RN license required; pending license accepted if application is submitted within 24 hours of offer
• Minimum 1 year of RNFA experience required
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Scrubs are provided
• All time off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial application
• Surgical cases performed at a secondary facility on Mondays as part of the floating rotation
