Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with at least 1 year of clinical experience in cardiac catheterization procedures, including PPM implants and peripheral angiographies.

Details

• Work in a hospital-based cardiac catheterization lab
• Patient population consists of individuals with cardiovascular diseases
• Caseload of approximately 7 cases per day
• Procedures include cardiac catheterizations, PPM implants, and peripheral angiographies
• Equipment includes Philips X-ray, Impella, balloon pump, and Acist injector
• Charting systems include Epic and Merge
• 4x10 hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Call requirement of 9 shifts per month: Mon–Thu call from 5:00 PM to 6:00 AM, plus one weekend per month (Fri 5:00 PM–6:00 AM, Sat/Sun 6:00 AM–6:00 AM)
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a cath lab setting
• Current BLS certification required
• Active NJ or Compact state license required, if applicable
• ARRT (R) or CCI RCIS certification required
• Experience with cardiac catheterizations, PPM implants, and peripheral angiographies required
• Proficiency with Philips X-ray, Impella, balloon pump, and Acist injector
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Two current references required for consideration
• NURSYS and state license verification required, if applicable

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are accepted for this position
• Candidates who are or have been employees of the RWJBH health system (full-time or PRN) must have been separated from the system for a minimum of 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment
