Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Pediatric/Adolescent Psychiatric position requiring prior pediatric psych experience and phlebotomy skills, with a Saturday–Monday day shift schedule.

Details

Pediatric and adolescent psychiatric facility setting
Saturday, Sunday, and Monday shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Patient population consists of pediatric and adolescent psychiatric residents
Involves medication administration, medical treatment, and participation in multi-disciplinary treatment planning

Requirements

Active NH or Compact RN license required
Required certifications: BLS and Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI)
Previous pediatric psychiatric nursing experience required
Phlebotomy experience required, including blood draws on a pediatric and adolescent population

Additional Information

Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
Two references from managers are required for consideration
Nursing care is provided under the direction of a Nurse Manager utilizing the nursing process and a Practice Model framework
Role involves comprehensive treatment planning as part of a multi-disciplinary team
