Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) position requiring cardiac scrub and circulate experience and an active NC or compact RN license.
Details
- Works in a dedicated Cardiovascular OR (CVOR) unit within a hospital setting
- CVOR team supports over 1,400 procedures annually across 5 dedicated OR rooms for Heart & Vascular patients
- Cardiac surgical patient population requiring both scrub and circulate roles
- Schedule is 4x10-hour shifts, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM; 3x12-hour shift schedule also considered
- Free parking available on-site
- Uses Epic or facility EMR (specific system not noted in description)
Requirements
- Active RN license in North Carolina or a compact state license valid in NC
- Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC) required
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
- Cardiac OR experience required, with ability to both scrub and circulate cardiac cases
- Minimum education: Nursing Diploma or ADN/ASN from an accredited nursing program; BSN or MSN preferred
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Drug screen results required; candidates should report to the lab within 24 hours of accepting the position
