Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Oncology RN for an 8-week travel contract in Overland Park, KS, requiring chemotherapy certification and a minimum of 2 years of oncology experience.

Oncology unit in a hospital setting
Day shift schedule: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
8-week contract duration

Requirements

Active RN license — KS or Compact license required
Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start)
Oncology Nursing Certification (ONC) required for all RNs in oncology
Chemotherapy certification required — either a facility-recognized chemo cert or completion of the Fundamentals of Chemotherapy course through the Oncology Nursing Society (ONS)
Minimum 2 years of recent oncology nursing experience required
US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
One professional reference required (two required if licensed in Florida or Missouri)
No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date
