Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) night shift position in Denver, CO, requiring vent/trach experience and current CO or compact RN licensure.
Details
- Long-term acute care (LTAC) hospital setting in Denver, CO
- Unit: Chronic Care (LTAC/Telemetry)
- Night shift schedule: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
- Patient ratio of 1:6
- Every other weekend required
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active CO RN license or multi-state compact RN license currently in hand
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA only; RCIS and RQI certifications are not accepted)
- Minimum 2 years of recent LTAC or relevant RN experience
- Vent/trach experience required
- Central line knowledge required
- Wound care experience preferred
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include shift accountability for patient care using the nursing process, critical thinking, clinical judgment, and supervision of assigned personnel
- Candidates must disclose any prior work history at a Kindred Hospital facility (permanent or contract), including facility name, dates, and reporting manager
- Any requested time off within the first 3 months of the assignment must be disclosed upfront
- Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility may be subject to a local pay rate
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date
