Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) night shift position in Denver, CO, requiring vent/trach experience and current CO or compact RN licensure.

Details

• Long-term acute care (LTAC) hospital setting in Denver, CO
• Unit: Chronic Care (LTAC/Telemetry)
• Night shift schedule: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• Every other weekend required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active CO RN license or multi-state compact RN license currently in hand
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA only; RCIS and RQI certifications are not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of recent LTAC or relevant RN experience
• Vent/trach experience required
• Central line knowledge required
• Wound care experience preferred
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include shift accountability for patient care using the nursing process, critical thinking, clinical judgment, and supervision of assigned personnel
• Candidates must disclose any prior work history at a Kindred Hospital facility (permanent or contract), including facility name, dates, and reporting manager
• Any requested time off within the first 3 months of the assignment must be disclosed upfront
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility may be subject to a local pay rate
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date
