Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel Occupational Therapist with Epic experience for a 13-week acute care hospital assignment combining inpatient general rehab and outpatient hand/upper extremity therapy.

Details

60/40 split between hospital acute care and outpatient settings
Hospital component focuses on general rehabilitation for adults of all ages
Outpatient component includes hand and upper extremity therapy
Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours (8:00–16:30)
13-week contract

Requirements

Active MN OT license required (license required if applicable)
Current BLS certification required
Epic EMR experience required
Candidate's primary residence must be at least 25 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Additional Information

MN temporary OT license typically issues within 5–10 business days of receiving NBCOT and license verification; fingerprint results are not required for the temp license to issue
MN permanent OT license processing takes approximately 4–6 weeks; background check results alone may take 3–5 weeks
Two professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years are required for consideration
A full 7-year work history with all gaps explained is required for consideration
All time-off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
