Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Step Down/PCU position in San Francisco, CA, requiring a CA RN license and at least 1 year of Medical/Surgical Step Down experience.

Details

  • PCU/Step Down unit operating as an 8-bed Medical/Surgical overflow unit
  • Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 0700–1930
  • Rotating weekend requirement
  • No on-call responsibilities
  • 13-week contract

Requirements

  • Active CA RN license required
  • BLS certification (AHA) required
  • Minimum 1 year of Medical/Surgical Step Down RN experience required
  • 2 supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Provides comprehensive, patient- and family-centered care addressing actual and potential health and illness needs in a Step Down setting
  • Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
  • Previous employees of this health system must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
  • Only 1 holiday RTO request will be approved during the contract
