Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Step Down/PCU position in San Francisco, CA, requiring a CA RN license and at least 1 year of Medical/Surgical Step Down experience.

PCU/Step Down unit operating as an 8-bed Medical/Surgical overflow unit
Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 0700–1930
Rotating weekend requirement
No on-call responsibilities
13-week contract

Requirements

Active CA RN license required
BLS certification (AHA) required
Minimum 1 year of Medical/Surgical Step Down RN experience required
2 supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration

Additional Information

Provides comprehensive, patient- and family-centered care addressing actual and potential health and illness needs in a Step Down setting
Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
Previous employees of this health system must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
Only 1 holiday RTO request will be approved during the contract
