Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week travel assignment at an acute care teaching hospital with a comprehensive stroke center.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting within an Interventional Radiology unit
• Level II Adult Trauma, Magnet-designated teaching facility
• Specializes in general IR, neuro intervention, and comprehensive stroke center cases
• Equipment includes Siemens and Philips bi-plane systems
• EMR is Epic; prior Epic experience is required
• 4x9 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• One call night per week from 4:30 PM – 7:00 AM
• Every third weekend on call from Friday 4:30 PM through Monday 7:00 AM
• Local candidates are accepted with no radius restriction

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of IR technologist experience required
• ARRT (R) and BLS certifications required
• Proficiency with Siemens and Philips bi-plane equipment
• Epic EMR experience required
• Pending state licenses are not accepted; active licensure required if applicable
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position

Additional Information

• Perform general interventional radiology and neuro intervention procedures within a comprehensive stroke center
• On-call responsibilities are a required component of this role
