Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Stepdown position requiring at least 2 years of recent cardiac telemetry or stepdown experience and an active NC or Compact RN license.

Details

• Cardiac Stepdown (PCU/IMC/DOU) unit in a hospital setting
• Day shift: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Schedule includes 6 weekend shifts (Saturday/Sunday), 4 Mondays, and 4 Fridays
• On-call responsibilities required
• Floating within PCU, Stepdown, and IMCU units
• Blocked scheduling is not available for this position
• Epic EMR experience required
• 10-week contract

Requirements

• Active NC or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications required: BLS and ACLS, must be in hand at time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Cardiac Telemetry, PCU, DOU, IMC, or Stepdown
• Epic EMR experience required
• 1 supervisory professional reference from within the last year required
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

• Local candidates are accepted; candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are subject to a local pay rate
• Orientation sessions are held bi-weekly
• Royal blue scrubs required
• Flu vaccine required between October 31 and March 31 with no exemptions accepted
