Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Stepdown/Telemetry position requiring at least 2 years of recent cardiac telemetry experience and an NC or Compact RN license in hand.

Details

Hospital stepdown/cardiac telemetry unit setting
Patient population includes cardiac stepdown cases requiring telemetry monitoring
Rotating days and nights on an 8-week blocked schedule
Day shifts: 7:00–19:30 (3x12); Night shifts: 19:00–7:30 (3x12)
Minimum of 4 weekend shifts and 4 Monday or Friday shifts required based on unit needs
Floating required to PCU, Stepdown, and IMCU units
On-call responsibilities required
Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

Active NC or Compact RN license currently in hand
Current BLS and ACLS certifications in hand at time of consideration
Minimum 2 years of recent cardiac telemetry experience required
Epic EMR experience required
1 supervisory professional reference from within the last year required for consideration
Full SSN and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Local candidates are accepted; candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are subject to a reduced pay rate
Flu vaccine is required between October 31 and March 31 with no exemptions accepted
Orientation sessions are held bi-weekly
Royal blue scrubs required
